A hazer is an antenna elevator system. It rolls on your tower and lets you raise or lower your antenna from the ground.
What Is a Hazer?
The 413 Built hazer is an aluminum elevator that mounts on your tower and holds your antenna. Instead of fixing your antenna to a set point on the tower, the hazer lets it travel up and down the full height. A cable connects the hazer to a winch at ground level — you control the height from the ground, at any time, without climbing.
Installation Overview
Mount the Hazer to Your Tower
The hazer bolts around your Rohn tower legs. It's a bolt-on installation, or if you have a tilt plate under your tower, you can just roll the hazer right on from the top. No welding, no permanent modifications.
Attach Your Antenna
Your antenna mounts to the hazer's mast plate the same way it would mount to a fixed bracket. Coax routes down through a loop on the carriage to prevent binding as it travels.
Connect the Winch System
Run your haul cable from the top of the tower down to the 413 Built Winch Box. The winch controls up and down movement from the ground. Wireless remote is provided alongside your winch box for easy control.
Raise, Lower, Service — Repeat
When you need to service your antenna, lower it from the ground. Do your work, then raise it back up. No climbing required.
